The fully transparent Bubble Tent Al Capone is located on the family-run Showalter winery in the Palatinate, surrounded by vineyards and alpacas. Here you can switch off as a couple, leave everyday life behind you and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Sauna, hot tub and wine tasting are available on site – all three offers can be booked to round off the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. In the morning, a breakfast basket brings fresh delights directly to the bubble while the alpacas stroll around the vineyard.

Al Capone is fully transparent, Alfonso semi-transparent – both bubbles are on the same site and otherwise offer the same conditions. No children, pets, kitchen or WLAN. Breakfast, sauna and hot tub must be booked during the booking process. Wine tastings of any kind can be organized directly with the host after booking.

How it works

Booking & confirmation

As soon as you have made your booking, you will receive an email with all the details about your arrival. There you will also find a link to your booking with all the travel details.

Arrival

You can arrive from 3 pm. If you arrive later than 8 pm, please contact the host. You will find the number in your booking.

Self-check-in

Self-check-in is possible at the Bubble Hotel Pfalz. Should any problems arise on site, you can contact the host on site at any time. You can find the number in the booking portal. Parking spaces are available on site.

Departure

Check-out must take place by 10 am. Please strip the bed, put the bedding in the lock and throw your garbage in the garbage cans outside the Bubble Tent.

Frequently asked questions

How does a bubble tent work?

The bubble is an air-supported, transparent dome with an airlock entrance. A quiet fan (whisper volume) maintains the shape and provides fresh air.

Is the bubble stable and safe?

Yes, it is firmly anchored and weatherproof. Even hail doesn't bother it thanks to the strong material. The bubble tents also usually have a lock so that the bubble can be locked.

What are the temperatures in the bubble and how does the ventilation work?

Air conditioning and heating ensure a pleasant temperature, and fresh air is constantly flowing into the bubble. The heating can be regulated in the bubble tent.

What about privacy?

Al Capone is fully transparent and is located in a private area of the winery. So you can enjoy full privacy - and a 360-degree view of the starry sky at the same time.

Is there a separate toilet and shower?

Toilets and showers with hot water are just a few steps away from the bubble. The showers and toilets are only accessible to our guests.

Can children stay overnight in the bubble?

The bubble is designed for two adults. Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate extra beds for children.

Are pets allowed?

No, you cannot take pets into the Bubble.

Is there catering or a vegan/vegetarian option?

Catering is not included. You simply bring what you like. There is also a snack vending machine on site. A fridge can be used on site by arrangement with the operator.

Can I bring my own food?

Of course! You are also welcome to have a picnic in front of or inside the bubble. Barbecuing at the fire barrel is also possible by arrangement.

Is there a hot tub or sauna, and are they private?

The hot tub and sauna can be booked for both bubble tents. However, we make sure that you have the hot tub and sauna to yourself.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay online with PayPal, Klarna, credit card or in advance. You can redeem a voucher at check-out.

Can I cancel or rebook free of charge?

You can cancel free of charge up to 10 days before your planned arrival. Details on canceling and rebooking can be found in our terms and conditions.

What is the difference between a location voucher and a value voucher?

Location vouchers are valid for this specific location (Al Capone and Alfonso), value vouchers can be used flexibly for any location.

How long are vouchers valid for?

How long a voucher is valid for is stated on the voucher and the order confirmation. A voucher is normally valid for 3 years.

What does the Romantic Upgrade (also non-alcoholic) offer?

The romantic upgrade includes a bottle of wine and beautiful torches around the Bubble Hotel. If you want non-alcoholic wine, please ask on site.

Do you offer extras such as flowers etc.?

Yes, subject to availability and lead time. Just let us know what you want when you book.

Is the bubble suitable for honeymoons or birthdays?

Of course, the bubble is ideal for special occasions. Just let us know what the occasion is when you book. Something special can be prepared in consultation with the host.
