The Bubble Tent Scheidegg is located high above the Allgäu, on a quiet hill with an unobstructed view of the Alps. A retreat where the world seems to stand still. As mist drifts over the valleys and the mountains glow in the distance, the two of you can enjoy the feeling of being far away from everyday life. After a day in the mountains, you can book the sauna and end the evening under the stars with a telescope. The large, fully equipped kitchen in the house is at your disposal for meals together.

I grew up here in Scheidegg and know the area inside out. I built the Bubble Tent with a lot of passion to give my guests an extraordinary break in the middle of the countryside.

A few steps away from the bubble you will find a toilet and shower, sauna and fully equipped kitchen in the adjacent building. Please book the sauna in advance with the host. You can order bread rolls from the local bakery on site if you wish.

How it works

Booking & confirmation

As soon as you have made your booking, you will receive an email with all the details about your arrival. There you will also find a link to your booking with all the travel details.

Arrival

You can arrive from 4 pm. If you arrive later than 8 pm, please contact the host. You will find the number in your booking.

Self-check-in

A personal check-in is possible at the Bubble Hotel Allgäu. Should any problems arise on site, you can contact Jonas, your local host, at any time. You can find the number in the booking portal. Parking spaces are available on site.

Departure

Check-out must take place by 11 am. Please strip the bed, put the bedding in the lock and throw your garbage in the garbage cans outside the Bubble Tent.

You can park directly at the property.

Take the bus to the bus stop Scheidegg, Böserscheidegg. From there it’s a 3-minute walk to the location.

A beautiful cycle path leads past the site. You can safely lock up your bike on site.

Important note

The bubble is slightly elevated. Access is a few meters uphill. Please take this into account when arriving and departing.

What makes the Scheidegg bubble special?

It is a private bubble tent on a small hill with a mountain view. There is only this one bubble on the property.

How stable is the Bubble Tent in wind and weather?

The bubble is firmly anchored and weatherproof. Should the weather become critical, we will contact you immediately.

How does it stay warm or cool in the bubble, and how is it ventilated?

The heater and fan ensure a pleasant climate. The air also circulates continuously.

How private is the location?

Because the bubble is the only one on the property, you have peace and quiet for the most part. There is a house next door, but it doesn't affect your privacy.

Where are the toilet and shower?

You can use the sanitary facilities in the house, which is just a few steps away.

Can children come along?

The bubble is designed for two adults. However, your child can sleep in the same bed by arrangement.

Are pets allowed?

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed in the Bubble.

Is there breakfast or catering?

You can book breakfast through a local bakery. You will need to bring your own food.

Can I cook for myself?

Yes, there is a large, fully equipped kitchen in the house that you can use.

Is there a sauna or wellness area?

You can optionally book the use of a sauna. The sauna is exclusive.

Which payment methods are possible?

PayPal, credit card, Klarna, prepayment and bank transfer are the options for payment.

How do cancelations and rebookings work?

You can cancel free of charge up to 10 days before your arrival. If you change your mind up to 7 days before arrival, you will have to pay 50% of the accommodation costs as a cancellation fee.

What is the difference between a location voucher and a value voucher?

Location vouchers are valid for Scheidegg, value vouchers can be used flexibly for all locations.

How long are vouchers valid for?

The validity is stated on the voucher and in your order confirmation. The standard period is 3 years.

Is there a romance upgrade?

When booking, you can choose the romantic upgrade with solar torches and sparkling wine. If you prefer an alcohol-free option, you can ask the host if this is currently available.
